This was a series that I did the last two weeks of high school my senior year. They are underwater in my backyard swimming pool. The subjects are ballerinas and it was a study of their movements but also I wanted to play with the reflections. It turned into a very graphical looking shoot because the girls look like they are coming undone and going away to the black abyss. Technically I made a large black backdrop to put into my pool and held it down with concrete blocks. Above the water I used my Novatron lighting kit with shoot through umbrellas. I plan on eventually expanding this series. Enjoy.
